Simply. Awesome! A kick-in-the-teeth finale to a fantastic trilogy! Too bad it ends here. Really. It's hard. To put it in Jorg's own words, "I hadn't known how bitter-sweet this would taste." Still, even with all the hindsight on Mark Lawrence, there were times when I wondered if he knew what he was...

I've seen this book a handful of times now, I was just a little worried about the violence/language. Not too bad though?

Sarthak Parajulee Jan 7, 2014

There are swear words here and there. Also incidence of rapes and sex. But they're there for a reason, and the author justifies their presence. I wouldn't be too worried. All in all, the protagonist intrigues you so much that you'd be ready to overlook his dark side for a certain time. :)

I highly recommend the way of kings. It is easily one of my favorite books.

Sarthak Parajulee Jan 7, 2014

Thanks for the recommendation. I myself am very eager to begin the Way of the Kings. I have read "Mistborn" by Sanderson and have become a fan of his.By the way, have you read any Michael J Sullivan? The Ryria Chronicles? That's actually next in my TBR list and would love an opinion.

I haven't read it, I'll have to look it up, thanks for the idea :)
